The BACL was founded in 2002 by the Boston Red Sox and is the first community out reach program that was personally started by the new ownership.  The BACL provides youth development through the game of baseball and allows the young athletes in the metropolitan Boston area a chance to compete and serve its community in a safe environment with the highest moral standards as its foundation.
